(Morristown, TN) – Monday morning presented great conditions at The Country Club for players competing in the two day 36 hole Tennessee Shine Co. Pro-Am. A field of 25 teams and 88 total players competed for a total purse of $12,000.
In this event teams are comprised of one TPGA Professional and three scratch amateurs.. There is also an individual event for Regular Professionals, Senior Professionals, Regular Amateurs, and Senior Amateurs.
On day one, it was the home team of Nathan Blanchard, PGA, Brad Campbell (a), Jeff Cranford (a), and Tony Patterson (a) that led the way, turning in a score of 58 (-14). Right behind them at 13-under was the team of Loren Personett, PGA, Chip Briggs (a), McTier Mosley (a), and Horace Roberson (a).
Mother nature delivered perfect weather for day two, with blue skies and the sun shining down. The home team of Nathan Blanchard, PGA, Brad Campbell (a), Jeff Cranford (a), and Tony Patterson (a) were able to hold on to their lead through the second day and claim the victory.
