It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bob Dibble, a true icon of Tennessee golf. A PGA member since 1964, Bob’s influence on the game spanned more than five decades. He served as the head professional at Link Hills Country Club in Greeneville, TN, from 1978 to 2000, and coached ...the Tusculum University golf teams for 28 years, leading them to 65 tournament titles. Bob mentored five All-Americans, 56 All-Conference players, and was named conference coach of the year nine times. His legacy includes being honored with the TNPGA Distinguished Career Award and the Horton Smith Award, and his induction into the Tusculum College Sports Hall of Fame. Bob’s impact on golf, especially junior golf, is immeasurable, and he will always be remembered as a beloved mentor, leader, and friend. Our thoughts are with his family during this difficult time. 🏌️♂️💙
The family will receive friends Friday from 4-7 PM at Jeffers Funeral Service downtown. Graveside services will be Saturday at 11:00 AM in Graceland Memorial Gardens. The family will meet at the funeral home at 10:00 Saturday to go in procession to the cemetery.
