The PGA of America announced today that five PGA of America Professionals will compete for the United States in the fourth edition of the Women’s PGA Cup, which will take place on September 3-5, 2026 at Carden Park in Chesire, United Kingdom.
Among those five PGA Professionals is Tennessee Section PGA/LPGA Professional Allie Knight, who will be competing in her second Women’s PGA Cup.
The Women’s PGA Cup brings together the top female PGA and LPGA Professionals from around the globe for a premier international team competition. Earning a spot on the 5-player U.S. roster is one of the highest honors in golf instruction and competition, requiring elite level play across national and sectional championships over a multi-year qualifying period.
Allie Knight’s selection to the national team comes on the heels of a monumental 2026 season. Earlier this year, Knight captured a signature victory at the 2026 PGA Women’s Stroke Play Championship at PGA Golf Club. That victory launched a high powered summer, which also saw her compete for her sixth consecutive KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, qualify for the 2027 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, and competed earlier in the PGA Professional Championship at Bandon Dunes.
This marks Knight’s second selection to the United States Women’s PGA Cup team, having previously helped lead Team USA to victory at the 2024 Women’s PGA Cup.
