The 2026 Tennessee Assistant and Senior PGA Professional Championships have officially wrapped up after an exciting 36-hole stroke play competition at the pristine Council Fire Club in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
The Tennessee Assistant PGA Professional Championship field was competing for two qualifying spots into the 50th Assistant PGA Professional Championship at PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Florida (November 12-15, 2026). Meanwhile, the Tennessee Senior PGA Professional Championship featured five spots for the 2026 Senior PGA Professional Championship at Superstition Mountain Golf & Country Club in Gold Canyon, Arizona (October 22-25, 2026).
Council Fire Club proved to be a fun, dynamic test for both fields, welcoming 44 competitors in the Assistant division and 28 players in the Senior division.
In the Tennessee Senior PGA Professional Championship, Greg Wyatt, PGA, and Jake Reeves, PGA, set the early pace, co-leading after round one with impressive matching scores of 69 (-3). As the final round unfolded, Wyatt held the lead at 4-under par as the final groups made the turn.
However, the back nine belonged to Reeves. Jake Reeves, PGA, showed up and showed out by pouring in four birdies to card a brilliant 5-under par second round. That explosive finish brought him to an 8-under par total (-8), securing the victory and capturing the 2026 Tennessee Senior PGA Professional Championship title.
In the Tennessee Assistant PGA Professional Championship, Brett Wolfe set the tone early with a blistering 7-under par (-7) opening round to take the day one lead. Heading into the final round, the leaderboard remained tight, turning into a battle with impressive play from Brad Hawkins and Jordan Harre making strong pushes.
Despite the pressure, Wolfe stayed cool, maintaining his cushion by turning in a solid 2-under par (-2) final round to seal the win and claim the 2026 Tennessee Assistant PGA Professional Championship title.
