Knoxville-based PGA Professional Allie Knight is ready to tee it up once again on one of the game’s biggest stages. The Fairways and Greens instructor is set to compete in the 71st KPMG Women’s PGA Championship at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, Minnesota, from June 25–28.
No stranger to championship-level golf, this marks Knight’s sixth consecutive appearance in the prestigious major. She enters the week riding a wave of serious momentum following a spectacular run over the last few seasons, headlined by a victory at the 2026 Women’s Stroke Play Championship this past February and a solid T-62 finish at the 2026 PGA Professional Championship.
Knight’s elite resume is anchored by heavy success at both the regional and national levels. An Epson Tour veteran with 16 career cuts and a two-time U.S. Women’s Amateur qualifier, her regional dominance includes winning the 2022 Tennessee PGA Section Knoxville Chapter Championship, alongside runner-up finishes at the 2021 Tennessee PGA Players Championship and the 2024 Tennessee Women’s State Open.
On the national stage, Knight has consistently proven she can compete with the best. In addition to serving as a crucial member of the victorious 2024 U.S. Women’s PGA Cup Team, she finished T-2 at the 2024 LPGA Professionals Championship, runner-up at the 2021 LPGA Professionals Championship, and is a multi-time competitor in the standard PGA Professional Championship. With a proven track record of performing under pressure, Knight heads to Hazeltine well-equipped to contend with the world’s best.
For Knight, this upcoming major appearance is the latest chapter in a lifelong journey that began at just six years old. Long before making waves on the professional circuit, she built a powerhouse foundation in her youth, capturing multiple All-State honors and district titles in high school before transitioning into a standout collegiate career at Middle Tennessee State University. As a Blue Raider, Knight cemented her place in program history by helping lead the team to its very first conference title and historic NCAA Regional appearance. Now, with a lifetime of competitive excellence behind her, she takes that same trailblazing spirit back to the grandest stage in women’s golf.
Join us in cheering on Allie as she represents the Tennessee PGA on the national stage.
