Three-way tie atop the leaderboard heading into the final round

Arrington, TN - The weather heated up and so did the play during the second round of the 49th Tennessee PGA Professional Championship. Jake Reeves started the day with a one stroke advantage and fired a 1 under par 70, to remain in first with two others. Sitting atop the leaderboard with Reeves is Brock Shafer of Windyke Country Club and Johan Kok of Hideaway at Arrington.

Winner of the 2017 Yamaha Assistant Match Play Championship

Old Hickory, TN - It was a great day for the semi-finals and finals of the 2017 Yamaha Assistant Match Play Championship at Old Hickory Country Club. The overcast sky kept the temperatures down and gave a few on and off showers throughout the day. The only constant rain was the raining of birdies from the final four participants.  The four finalists had advanced in three prior rounds to make it to OHCC. The last four standing were Zach Wright and Casey Flenniken, PGA out of the east bracket, Alex Cox and Mike Vance out of the West bracket.

Three teams claim victory at NCR Harold Eller Pro-Am

Old Hickory, TN – After two days of perfect weather at Old Hickory Country Club, the 2017 National Car Rental Harold Eller Pro-Am came down to the wire. Tim Keller’s team took the Ervin Division (Old Hickory Member) and a tie for the Eller Division (3 Scratch) between Joey Hickman’s and Jamie Chapman’s teams.

Personett, Chapman, Fly capture titles at Foxland Harbor

Gallatin, TN – After two hard fought days of golf at Foxland Harbor Golf and Country Club, two Tennessee PGA Professionals and one Amateur would come out on top at the Yamaha Players Championship and the Tennessee Senior PGA Professional Championship: Walt Chapman, PGA, Loren Personett, PGA and Buzz Fly (a).
